It is painful that the people who are saddled with the responsibility of protecting lives and properties , Nigeria Police Force, are abetting the destruction of properties. Today, 12th of November, 2015, area boys accompanied by Policemen invaded Ilamose Estate in Oke Afa, Isolo and destroyed numerous buildings, cars and squandered the consumable goods of businessmen and women.

The area boys a.k.a Omo-onile claim that the High Court of Lagos delivered a judgement on Tuesday 6th of June 2006 in suit No: ID/1752/89 between Mr. Abiodun O Ojo and Mrs Jokotade vs Alhaji Imam Ayinde Akinyemi, Alhaji Bello (Baale) and Alhaji Raheem Adejumo, in favour of the claimants Mr. Abiodun Ojo and Mrs Jokotade Bakare as the owners of the entire Ilamose Estate near Ejigbo shown on the survey plan no CD/778/77 dated 11th Nov. 1977.

With weapons the area boys pulled down fences, broke shops and made away with goods while policemen watched .

  • Mr Pascal, it is better you use the freedom of information bill effectively and efficiently.
    Look at what you just posted….area boys / Omo onile when a court of appeal and high court judgment clarifies such demolition.
    Pls don’t be biased….investigative journalism matters.
